Jonathan Perrone is of counsel at Centre Law & Consulting and a seasoned bid protest and claims attorney with over six years of experience in public procurement law. Jon counsels and represents government contractors in healthcare, construction, manufacturing, defense, information technology, and service industries. He specializes in representation in both pre-contract and contract-administration phases. Jon helps contractors prepare to perform, protesting solicitation defects and improper evaluations and award decisions, as well as handles disputes concerning contract modifications, payment and performance obligations, cure notices and terminations, and the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS).
After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 2009, Jon worked for a large defense contractor, where he gained valuable experience in the field of government contracting and traveled extensively to U.S. military installations abroad. In law school, Jon worked in a clinical program helping Colorado’s low-income and homeless veterans obtain discharge-upgrades and VA disability benefits. Before joining Centre, Jon was an attorney at Whitcomb, Selinsky, P.C. in Lakewood, Colorado, where he successfully defended contract awards, obtained numerous corrective actions, and favorably negotiated contract disputes for his clients.
He holds a juris doctor from the University of Denver is licensed to practice in Colorado and admitted to the bars of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
